Nurses Wanted in Simrishamn Municipality

We are now looking for nurses who want to work in a pool and/or in a combined role with the function One Path In. The design of the position can be adapted based on your skills, experience, and interests.

You will be based at our central unit at Galaxen in Simrishamn and work throughout the municipality – both in regular housing and in special accommodations. Regardless of your focus, you will be an important part of the municipal healthcare and contribute to safe, accessible, and person-centered care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on the focus of the position, your job responsibilities will include parts of the following:

Pool Nurse

• Perform health and medical care interventions in regular housing and in special accommodations
• Make independent assessments, plan, and follow up on nursing interventions
• Collaborate with nursing assistants, rehabilitation, doctors, and other professionals
• Contribute to good quality, continuity, and patient safety in the operations

One Path In

• Be the first contact for incoming cases to the municipality's healthcare
• Receive calls from both internal and external actors
• Assess, prioritize, and manage cases and allocate assignments to the right profession or unit
• Handle referrals and collaborate with primary care and other partners

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse, preferably a district nurse or specialist nurse with a focus on the elderly
• Has experience in municipal healthcare, home healthcare, or special accommodations
• Is confident in your professional role and used to making independent decisions
• Has good communication skills and a structured, solution-focused working method
• Enjoys variety, independence, and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams
